Just a note to thank you so
much for E-Word Today. With its abundance of links and
resources, it has truly become the computer literate believer's
"must have." I am a Chaplain and Physical Therapist, working
also as Resident Coordinator at a care facility for seniors; I
also am legally blind. As you may imagine, I am usually very
busy but generally find time in my day to conduct my own
devotional studies using the resources of E-Word Today. I can
no longer easily read regular books, but with my 19-inch
screen and the audio and giant print helps you provide, I am
not hampered in my ability to study the Word.

The handy links to commentaries and specific verse references
make the site almost as comprehensive as my Bible software
and much easier and faster to use for personal study. The
recent addition of links to Conservative and Christian News
Media is also a welcome one, allowing me to keep in touch
with the Christian world view right from my desk as I work.
May the Lord continue to use you. What you are doing at GCN
is a fine example of what evangelicals should be doing
organizationally—coming together and uplifting one another
for the furtherance of the Gospel to the glory of Christ. Many
thanks, and may He return blessing for blessing. (Terry)

Hi—I have been reading your site for a long time now and it
just keeps getting better! You are a wonderful blessing to me
as I work from home but am on line all day and your site is
sometimes my only source for the word during my hectic day.
While I was reading it just a moment ago the Lord sent a
blessing! I love its new contemporary look. I have forwarded
your site on to probably over 30 people on my mailing list.
Please continue the awesome work you are doing. (Vicki)

Thank you for your work that you do for the Lord. I look
forward every morning to begin my day at work with the word
that you have so graciously selected and sent to me. There
really can be no greater work than spreading the word of God.
And your addition of Matthew Henry's commentary is very
good.

The labor that you put forth in preparing and sending his word
out on the web has to be a labor of love. Be assured, nothing
is done for our Lord that he does not take notice. Never let
anyone persuade you to stop this effort for you had to be
inspired to do it by the Master. Do not grow weary in
well-doing, for in due season, if you faint not, you shall reap.
That is one pay day that you don't want to miss. God bless
you and all that work with you on this wonderful project.
(Tony)

I read most of E-Word the first thing in the morning, while I
drink coffee, and file the contents for later use. It is wonderful
to have it right at hand. There are so many wonderful things
on the mail and I appreciate your work so much! (Sherry)

I would like to thank you for two things. First of all for your
daily E-Word. I've been struggling for years to read the Bible
daily with varied success. I hooked into E-Word early in the
year and have read the Word daily since. This is the longest I
have been reading daily. I'm still working on finding a regular
time to spend in the Word around family, work and volunteer
commitments, but I'm thrilled to have come this far.

Secondly, thanks for the French/English version. I lived in a
French environment 15 years ago for a few months. I have
since lived in a very English part of Canada where exposure to
French is very limited. Now I practice my French reading skills
by reading E-Word first in French and checking my
understanding with the English version that follows. I am
getting different insights from familiar passages from the
different translation.

All of the reading members of my family are now also reading
regularly, and I have recommended this to many friends.
Thank you for doing your part in fulfilling God's plan by
sharing His Word so faithfully. (Brenda)

I discovered your service just recently. I love it! Thanks so
much for the daily reminder of our relationship with the King.
I am currently receiving NKJV each day and I see how easy it
is to change versions. That's neat, too. Thanks again for
everything you're doing for me and for the Christian
community. (Mark)

No, this is not a problem e-mail but a thank you e-mail.
Thanks for the daily reading from the Word of God. God bless
you all. Your brother in Christ. (Robert)

I just love your messages. You have space for everything
except "thanks" on your site! Again, thanks for the bread of
life. (Sam M.)

I want to thank you for your devotions every day. I am 74 and
it is hard for me to read the Bible any more as my eyesight is
fading. It is wonderful that you can do this. I know there are a
lot of people out there who thank you for your good work. God
bless you all. (Cyber-Grannie)

Editor: In response to the above message, we started to
publish a Large Print Edition of E-Word Today. Our
"Cyber-Grannie" helped us choose the right type size that
worked best for her eyesight. We've also added several audio
versions of the Bible.

I like the "one-bite-at-a-time" approach. Those
"Bible-in-a-Year" plans are just fine, if one's ambition is just
to read the Bible in a year. But after I read my four chapters a
day, I have no idea what I just read. Your short passages are
a far better idea! (Maurice)

May God bless all of you there (and the work you do in getting
this e-mail out)!! (Dawn)

I enjoy your messages very much. THANK YOU! Keep up the
good work. And may GOD BLESS YOU and the people helping
you. (Duane)

I thank you for all the time and prayer that have gone into
putting this (E-Word Today) together. I have passed this on
to many of my friends and family. I really enjoy the hymnals
and knowing something about the backgrounds of them.
Thank you again. May God richly bless you. (Carolyn)

What a great service you are providing! Bible for busy
people--that is what I am. I am the working parent, and when
I come home from work, I don't have much time to spend on
the computer. I don't even get on every evening, so even with
your mailings, I have to read several at a time, but your
individual mailings are such a good length for even twice
weekly reading! I love it! Keep up the good work! (Ann)

E-Word Today is refreshing for the soul. I've passed it through
to several colleagues. Blessings. (Carl)

Tears of Wonder (Title of E-mail Message): Again I ask why
you don't have a space for questions, comments, and
testimonies about the blessings received from your daily
messages? The blessings I receive are enormous and there is
no way I can repay you. The history of the Faith rests on the
bones of countless martyrs and hymn writers we will never be
able to thank for their sacrifice. To be honest, we should make
just a little more effort to leave a message of hope to a lost
world which every day goes downward in a thousand
manners. You are certainly doing your part in a beautiful
manner which is just as honest as our forefathers. I am sure
you will receive many crowns in the heavenly realms. May God
richly bless you. (Sam)

Editor: Our thanks to Sam for holding us to our word
regarding this comments page. Your encouraging remarks
always came at just the right time when we needed them
most. Thank YOU.

How wonderful!!! Thank you for your diligent work in
cyber-space!!! It blesses my socks off!!! I also thank you for
including the hymns, etc. in your daily devotionals!!! What a
wonderful work you are providing for us!!! Que Dios te
bendiga mucho!!! (Yolanda)

I would like to subscribe to e-word for daily devotions. My
friend sent me over a copy and I loved it. Could I subscribe,
too?

I wanted to say thank you for putting out E-Word.
Unfortunately, many of us--myself included--do not take
enough time to consider the things of God and ponder over
His truths. E-Word provides just the right amount of that. It is
an easy way to read the Bible, but I also like being able to
read other Christian poems. It always helps knowing that you
aren't the only one out there. Thank you. (Heather)

I really enjoy receiving E-Word Today. It is a great way to
start off my day. (Joe)
